General guide for
creating participant list:
Step 1:
Click this link:
https://clickers.umd.edu:8443/cgi-bin/faculty.cgi (link opens in new window)
and login with your Directory ID and Password.

Step 2:
Click Load Rosters and select the courses you wish to have loaded
into the system. Click Proceed when done. You will see a confirmation
page.
(Note: you need to perform this step only once.
Once you have loaded course in the system, you need not come back each time and
load rosters)

Step 3:
Have your students register their key pads (clickers) at
http:www.clickers.umd.edu
(Note: You do not need to perform this step if students have already
registered their clickers)
Step 4:
Return to
https://clickers.umd.edu:8443/cgi-bin/faculty.cgi login and select
Download Participant lists

Step 5:
Select the courses for which you want to download participant lists and
save them to your computer.
(Note: The file will have extension .tpp)

Step 5: Download the desired participant
list
Step 6:
Import the Participant list into TurningPoint (Open TurningPoint and click on the Participants button, and select Import Participant a List). If your are going to run your presentation on a classroom computer, you must copy the list to a portable device and bring it with you. For more information on running a clicker session, return to the Faculty Resources page or refer to the Getting Started with Clickers Workshop handout.
